Christ Evangelist Association started in 1964 as a group of Evangelists, Pastor, deacon and Teachers of the Word, who were born again filled with the Holy Spirit and experienced the move of the Holy Ghost Revival   of 1960. They yield to the Word and Prayer was Key in their life.They gave their life to God at a tender age; the movement was so powerful operating in the following nine gifts of the Holy Spirit:

(a)   The three gift of Revelation;

•  The word of wisdom.
•  The word of knowledge.
•  Discernment of spirits.

(b)   The gift of Utterance

•  Prophecy.
•  Tongues.
• The interpretation of tongues.

(c) The three gifts of power.

• The gift of faith.
• The gift of healing.
• The gift of performing miracles.  

From 1964-1982 the ministry had a vibrant future and with a great call of being volunteers missionaries sent by God across the country until 1985 when there was leadership wrangles and poor structure, poor constitution, promoting  church politics, like election, miracle madness, titles,positions etc.

Since 1997-, there has been prayers to restore the wells of the Holy Ghost movement of sound doctrine and importation of the anointing, but many challenges have been witnessed, until early 2007 when the leadership team agreed to focus in serving In the ministry without looking at the position /title and to forsake all tradition, shadows that may not glorified the name of our lord Jesus Christ, through networking with other spiritual ministers, churches of the unity of the body of Christ.

It ‘s our prayers that the book of genesis chapter 26:18-35 will be fulfilled as the lord keep the seed of his Faithful saints, we make this covenant to come to pass as we see new  She ‘bah. What we mean to embrace sound Doctrine.

Pastor Elisha Ochieng Atieno,

He was born in 1978, born again on 1st June 1996 while in high school.

He was a member of Christian union Christian Union held the position of chairman while in High school. Thurdiburo Secondary School and Mbugra Secondary School.

Have been a bible student since 1993 with many bible correspondence schools, have certificate in I.T, Certificate in Business Management, Advance Certificate in Businessmen Management, Diploma in Project Planning & Management, Degree in Project Planning and Management -deferred with Nairobi University in 2014. Degree with Harvest Bible University in Theology-Biblical studies and Theology.

Married to one wife Sharon Atieno, with 3 Children namely:

John Bovard, Brooke Ada,   and Bruce Allen respectively. Above all, he is taking care of 100 orphans in Kenya through CEA church-Gweth after over 11 years experience as A Manager of Kids Alive Nyando -Kenya Charitable Children Institution Authorized by the Government of Kenya through Kids Alive International support, but no

He is down to earth and share the gospel with small kids e.g. Sunday school through CEF training on child evangelism.

The lord has prepared him for a noble job like caring for orphans with Kids Alive (www.kidsalive .org) as the Home manager for the 11 years and organizing Pastor’s conference in our remote village and several trips within Kenya and mission in Uganda.

His passion is learning from mistake, being flexible and receptive in knowledge.

Apostle Peter Otieno

He is married to Evaline and has 3 kids Paul and Joshua and Caleb.

He was an Elder with First Baptist Church before fully involved in teaching Ministry with CEA Church Nyakach -Kenya East Africa.

He is a teacher of the word and has held many positions as man of God. He holds bachelors in Business management / accountancy as his tent making while have passion to serve God in all direction. He stays in Nairobi and recently completed his Master in Becom, have a passion to start his PHD in Theology at the leading of the Lord.

Dismas Ogat Ouko

He has been serving as a pastor since 1996 and he is committed pastor and have seven children and vocational in approach for the sake of the family needs. Has certificate in Bible studies by Extension program through Nyakach Faith Bible Institute.

He was  working at kids alive for the last 5 years and he retired due to the age factor but still do other work to support his family apart from the pulpit ministry.

The Statement Of Faith

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the revealed will of God. (2 Tim. 3:16, 2Pet. 1:21)

Our God is one, but manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All are equal and eternal. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Word made flesh, and God manifest in the flesh. (Matt. 28:19, John 1:1, Heb. 1:2-3, 1 John 5:7)

Man was created in the image of God. By voluntary transgression, sin entered into the world causing man’s separation from God, with his only hope of redemption in Jesus Christ. (Gen. 1:26, Rom. 5:12-17)

Salvation is God’s free gift to man through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is received by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and confessing Jesus as your Lord. (John 3:3, Rom. 10:9-10, Eph. 2:8)

Water baptism is a believer’s declaration to the world that he has died with Christ, and has been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matt. 28:19, Rom 6:4, Col 2:12)

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a free gift from God, promised to every believer and received subsequent to the New Birth. This experience is accompanied by the evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Matt. 3:11, Acts 1:8,Acts 2:4, 38-39, Acts 19:1-6)

Redemption through Jesus Christ frees man from the curse of sin, spiritual death, poverty, and sickness- and enables him to reign over, and independent of the circumstances of life. (Rom 5:17, Rom 8:2, 3 John 2)

Jesus is coming again to gather His saints unto heaven. When He comes, the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. (Acts 1:11,l 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 2 Thessalonians. 2:1 )

Following the tribulation, Jesus will return to the earth as King of kings and Lord of lords, and with His saints will rule and reign for one thousand years. After this period, there will be a new heaven and a new earth. (rev. 20:6, Rev. 21)

The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and, therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The lake of fire is literal. (Heb. 9:27, Rev. 19:20)
